The Head and The Heart Weekend Roundup: TOUR TIME!

by Daniel on March 4, 2012

Kenny and snoop sharing a bro-ment.

As you are all well aware, The Head and The Heart are kicking off their much anticipated spring headlining tour this evening in Lawrence KS. This weekend the band made an appearance at the Snowball Festival in Colorado, and Kenny had the pleasure or enjoying some snoop love.

**While in CO, the band also recorded their second Fuel/Friends Chapel Sessions session complete with brand new unreleased songs.
The first session, released in late march of last year, was outstanding, and can be found here – Fuel/Friends THATH #1
There is no set release date on this one, but as soon as there is, we will let you know!

Before heading out to see the band live, I highly recommend checking out the interview below, where Tyler dishes on what to expect to hear on tour, as well as on the next album.

From Around The Web:

Success, Teamwork, and Tequila Dish Interviews: The Head and The Heart – (Interview)
A great interview with Tyler, discussing everything from comparisons to Mumford and Sons, to how they write songs, to what to expect on the upcoming album. A must read for any fan!

The Head and Heart has plenty of heart – – (Album Review/Feature Article)
A nice long feature article on the band/album review. The reviewer takes an in depth look at the songs on the album, both lyrically, and musically. The conclusion is actually kinda positive :) .

Love this line:
“Head and The Heart promise for an emotionally intoxicating experience, backed by acoustic guitar and violin as well. If you are looking for an atmosphere that makes you feel involved and intrigued, this one’s for you.”

I actually just downloaded the Fuel/Friends Chapel Sessions #2, but when I tried to download the first one from last year, the file was a dud. Any idea what I can do to get those songs?
