Natalie on THATH:
Back in February, thanks to fierce encouragement from my brother and dear friend and talented singer-songwriter Andrew Sturtz, I saw The Head and The Heart for the first time at Schubas Tavern in Chicago. The band’s genuine warmth, three part harmonies and incredible live energy blew me away. I’ve had the chance to see them two other times in Chicago, at Millennium Park where they opened for Iron & Wine (the six hour wait in line to be in the front row was beyond worth it!) and at their recent headlining show at the Hideout. As a recent college grad making the transition into the next stage of my life, I am so thankful to experience this music that echos the waves of wistful goodbyes, hellos and hope that flicker through my days. Love THATH so much!
