The Head and The Heart Rose Bar Session  – GRASSCLIPPINGS – (Show Review)
Another strong review from the private Rose Bar Session show at the Gramercy Hotel.

Personal Tangent:
From the review..“Down in the Valley” is one of the best images of addiction I’ve seen in modern music.”
That was exactly how I felt the first time I heard that song, and exactly how I interpreted it.
Even though today, thanks to Tyler, I know the songs true meaning, I find it interesting, and always love to hear how others interpret the songs, and how they can become meaningful to so many for a plethora of different reasons.

A quick Q & A with Josiah with questions ranging from what it was like to play for Obama to why the band is playing two shows in Nashville, to plans for 2012. Def worth a quick read.

 - – (Interview)
A great question and answer with Tyler with hometown Richmond magazine. Tracing Tyler’s move to Richmond in 2005, to joining the band, to what to expect in the future. A well-written and thorough interview. Worth a read, especially if you are a Richmond local.

Dave Matthews Band summer tour dates have been popping up on the web randomly but yesterday it came to our attention that 2 dates were posted at SPAC (Saratoga Performing Arts Center) June 23rd and 24th, and have the opening act listed as The Head and the Heart.  The validity of these dates or the opening act has not been confirmed, and we have heard from a reliable source that DMB will play SPAC on June 8, and 9th which contradicts those dates posted. As soon as we hear something concrete we will let you know. Until then…..
